Job Description

Become an integral part of a thriving residential cleaning business as a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist / Virtual Assistant. In this remote role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, generating quotes, and nurturing leads. You’ll utilize specialized software to streamline operations and play a crucial role in converting prospects into satisfied customers. This position offers a unique blend of customer service, administrative tasks, and potential sales opportunities, all while working from the comfort of your home. As the voice of the company, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact on business growth and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

Handle inbound customer calls in both English and French, providing information about services and generating accurate quotes using specialized software

Manage email communications efficiently, addressing scheduling requests, cancellations, and general inquiries

Follow up on incomplete online booking forms and nurture leads to boost conversion rates

Coordinate on-site visits when necessary, ensuring smooth communication between clients and cleaning teams

Perform various administrative tasks to support business operations and improve overall efficiency

Optionally manage social media postings using pre-prepared content to enhance the company’s online presence

Collaborate with the business owner to continuously improve customer service processes and lead conversion strategies

 

Requirements

Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken), with the ability to switch seamlessly between languages

Excellent customer service skills and a professional phone manner, capable of building rapport with diverse clients

Strong written communication abilities for effective email management and lead nurturing

Proficiency in basic computer skills and aptitude for quickly learning new software applications

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating strong time management skills

Familiarity with the Montreal area and local culture is a significant advantage

Experience in the cleaning or home services industry is a plus, but not required

Comfortable with a performance-based environment, including potential commission opportunities for successful lead conversions

Ability to adapt to a growing business environment and contribute ideas for process improvement
